PERSONAL INJURY LAW CLERK (TORT)

​TF Talent Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable Toronto law firm seeking an experienced Personal Injury Law Clerk to join their team.

​

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience independently managing Plaintiff Tort files and be comfortable handling day-to-day responsibilities with minimal supervision.

​

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage Plaintiff Personal Injury Tort files from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, correspondence, motion materials and legal documentation
• Coordinate productions, undertakings and documentary disclosure
• Schedule and manage discoveries, mediations and related appointments
• Review medical and expert reports
• Maintain regular communication with clients and counsel
• Monitor deadlines and ensure files remain organized and progressing efficiently
• Prepare files for mediation, pre-trial and trial support

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Plaintiff Personal Injury Tort experience
• Proven ability to run files independently with minimal supervision or reminders
• Strong understanding of Tort litigation procedures and timelines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, detail-oriented and team-focused approach
